Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Trainetic Resume Builder ("Trainetic", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Trainetic lets you build, customize, and export resumes using a live editor, template gallery, and AI-assisted writing tools. Starter and Pro plans offer different feature sets, described on our pricing/paywall screens at the time of purchase.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions & Payment

Paid plans are billed via Razorpay in the currency and amount shown at checkout. Plans are charged as one-time payments for a 30-day access period or lifetime access without automated recurring debit traps. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on refunds.

5. Your Content

You retain full ownership of the resume content you create. You grant us only the limited license needed to store, process, and render that content in order to provide the Service to you (e.g., generating a PDF). We do not claim ownership of your resumes and will not use your content to train AI models.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to bypass usage limits, authentication, or security controls; upload malicious files; or interfere with the Service's normal operation (including automated scraping or abuse of the AI features).

7. AI-Generated Suggestions & Drafting Aid

AI bullet-rewriting and scanning suggestions are automated drafting aids powered by external language models. Suggestions may contain inaccuracies or stylistic mismatches. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and confirming the factual accuracy of all content in your resume before submitting it to any employer or third party.

8. Third-Party Trademarks & Non-Affiliation

All third-party product names, logos, brands, and trademarks mentioned on this website (including but not limited to Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo, Anthropic, Claude, and OpenAI) are the registered trademarks of their respective owners. Mention of these trademarks is solely for descriptive and nominative fair-use purposes to describe software compatibility and technical design principles. Trainetic is an independent software application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or certified by any of these entities.

9. No Guarantee of Employment or Hiring Outcomes

Trainetic provides formatting, editing, and optimization tools. We do not guarantee that your resume will pass any specific applicant tracking system, secure interviews, receive callbacks, or lead to employment. Employment and hiring decisions are made exclusively by third-party recruiters and employers at their sole discretion.

10. User Representations & Indemnification

You represent and warrant that you own or have the lawful right to all content, employment history, credentials, and materials you upload or enter into Trainetic. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Trainetic, its founders, directors, employees, and agents from any third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your resume content or misrepresentation of professional credentials; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of applicable laws or third-party intellectual property rights.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRAINETIC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL BE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO TRAINETIC IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR INR 999, WHICHEVER IS LESS.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law principles. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or pose a security risk to the Service or other users.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
